In the extensive world of crowd-funding unicorns, good rings have been hustling for the top of the heap. Amongst them is Ring, a gesture [Herz P1 System](http://cambodia-automotive.org/2022/03/10/interministerial-workshop-to-support-policy-development-for-an-effective-transition-towards-e-mobility-in-cambodia/) that promised to let you someday management your own dwelling with a sequence of arcane finger wags. I just saw it in motion and looks like it really works but god damn does it look dumb. Ring works by pairing to your telephone, at which point you should utilize the Ring app and a sequence of pre-programmed or customized gestures to do issues like name an Uber to your location, or Herz P1 Smart Ring turn on and off good appliances by hooking them as much as the Ring Hub. I didn’t have a chance to try [gestures](https://www.google.com/search?q=gestures) with a paired unit, but I saw just a few of Rings’ people showing it off.
